This must be one of the simplest recipes to exist on planet Earth. Two main ingredients only! These are intensely nutty, super sweet cookies topped with fresh fruit.

My kitty, as always, tried to get some… this little cutie is literally obsessed with healthy food… Try eating a banana, avocado, blueberries, oatmeal or broad beans when he’s around… ain’t no way he lets you eat in peace! Surprisingly he doesn’t act this way around less nutritious foods… I think I infected him with love for healthy lifestyle 😂

(Don’t worry, I make sure he eats cat food only)

For 9 cookies:

  • 1 cup dates (soaked for an hour)
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • chosen topping (I chose pears and blueberries)

Blend drained dates with walnuts until their texture is plastic (don’t make the mass smooth, leave small chunks). Form round cookies and press down their middle part to achieve a small cavity (or use silicone muffin molds to shape the cookies). Top with fresh fruit.
They taste best chilled.



Na 9 ciastek:

  • 1 szklanka daktyli (namoczonych przez godzinę)
  • 1 szklanka orzechów włoskich
  • wybrane dodatki (ja wybrałam gruszki i borówki)

Blenduj orzechy i odsączone daktyle aż do uzyskania plastycznej masy (nie gładkiej, ale z małymi kawałeczkami). Uformuj okrągłe ciasteczka i przyciśnij ich środek by utworzyć małe zagłębienia (lub użyj silikonowych foremek do muffinek, żeby uformować ciastka). Udekoruj świeżymi owocami.
Najlepiej smakują schłodzone.
